Both
Dale and John grew up surrounded by animals and have a true love for
them. Our parents were very supportive of our interests and knew that
an interest in animals was a "good thing" as it would ingrain
in us many qualities that would help us become valuable assets to
society. The
responsibilities and life lessons were invaluable in molding us into
who we are today.
We both
have a very keen interest in unusual animals that have unique qualities
about them. We provide our animals with top quality care, diet and
environments and have personal relationships with them.
To us,
they are not just animals, rather, apart of our unique family. We
receive great joy from our animals and take pride in the quality of
the different groups we have established in breeding bands.
We are
NOT a breeding mill, but do selectively breed our animals for placement
into qualified homes where we feel they will be taken care of . Potential
owners will be asked about having prior experience with the animals
they are interested in as well as licensing if required for local
ownership.
We sell
healthy vet inspected offspring with current vaccinations and wormings.
Some species pregnancies vary from year to year.
If you
are serious about obtaining a particular animal and we do not have
any available, please e-mail us at highsierra2008@yahoo.com
and we will put you on a list. When the animals become available,
we will e-mail you back.
No deposits
are necessary.
We will
keep the website current with animals for sale in the Available
for Sale link. As animals are sold, their pictures will be withdrawn.
Prices shown will be non-negotiable and the cost of the crate and
shipping will be at buyer's expense. We are able to air ship from
the Reno/Tahoe Airport pending weather conditions.
Our breeding
facility is a closed environment and we do not allow the general public
to tour. This is to provide a low stress, safe haven where our breeders
will feel secure. It is very important that the cats do not become
stressed in order to successfully breed.
Our exotics
are bottle raised with lots of interaction, love and attention. We
do our very best to develop a well adjusted youngster, however, they
are wild animals and under certain circumstances, they revert back
to a more wild state. This often depends on the handling and bonding
they receive in their new homes.
